Hello again from Spain!
I have a sweet little daughter. She is 19 months old and she starts talking... She says simple words like: mama, papa, no... But she really has difficulties to say "Si" ("yes" in spanish). She knows how to pronounce the "s" and how to pronounce the "i", but she doesn't say "si". Each time, instead of saying "si" she says "da". Then I say "you have to say "si", repeat "si". And she says "si". But when she responds she always says "da".
My mother is an expert on logotherapy and says that she doesn't know why she says "da".
We have discobered that "Da" is the word for "yes" in russian, rumanian and maybe other languages. The other day my mother sayed "maybe she was russian in another life", which surprised me because I thought she didn't believe in this.
On the other hand my daughter's favourite toy is a matrioshka (russian dolls that you put one inside of another...). My mother had a little matrioshka that somebody gave her as a souvenir and my daughter was crazy about her, she always wanted the matrioshka. So I bought one for her and it's her favourite doll...
Yes, maybe she was russian... Or maybe it is just a coincidence... From what age children start "saying" things of before or foreing words? Anyway, I think that maybe it is better for her not to remember other lifes... Sometimes I think it can be difficult for a child to live with past memories of other lifes. It makes they suffer... (as I saw on the videos you recommend).
Thank you for reading!
