PL Birthdays

I can not recall much of my past lifes but know that there is a lot of you out there that do. So I was wondering do we reincarnate with same birthdays repeating? I wonder if any of you can recall your birthdays past or the time of day maybe.

Hi Raptor95, interesting question. I dont think we actually need to be born on the same date every incarnation. I feel that it is our choice when we wish to incarnate. That could be within 5mins of passing over or 10years, but it would still feel like the same amount of "time" spent in the spirit world. I cant remember any of my past lives so I have no solid opinion on this, but, and I'm sure the others will agree, we could be born on any date we wish unless our aim is to help another soul in that life, then we might go with what suits their life plan. The spirit world is timless so I dont think it would really matter what date we are born into in general.

I was wondering because of some events that happened a few years ago. My niece could not wait to be 21. Will she made it, but passed away a month later.

The uncanny thing is the following.

A niece passed away, a niece was born and it was my mom's birthday all in the same day.

So could you be born 10 yrs later on the same date or same month?

Kristopher :)

I agree with what your are saying, but at the same time curious if this is something that happens to a few of us.

Sorry to hear about your niece passing over. I fully believe that its possible to be born on the same date 10yrs later. Sounds like it could have been pre-planning. We cant underestimate the limits, if any, of what we can do/arrange in the spirit world.

I was born on the same date that I died 8 years previously. So, even though 'time' has no meaning in the spirit world (and I don't believe in coincidences) I think it is quite possible that dates are significant between incarnations.

There is more planned on the Other Side between Souls and their Spirit Guides than we realize or give them credit for. :)

What we think of as eerie or spooky over here (sharing a Birthdate with someone else, for instance) is just good planning on THEIR part over there.

I definitely think there is significance to various dates in our current lives and past lives. The date I died in 1905 is the date I was married in 1989...to the woman who was my mother in 1905. Also significant is that the same date is the day I met my ex-fiance in this lifetime, who was the sister in 1905.

I agree with hydrolad in that the efforts made by our souls and our guidance is tremendously significant in ways we cannot imagine, and their capacity for and ability to make everything fit into suggested patterns (subject to our free will) is unimaginable to the human mind.

I agree completely. Our feeble, mortal minds cannot even come close to grasping "the other side." We think in the context of time and space and what our conscious, blood and fiber brains can handle. I was watching the program Through the Wormhole (HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!) with Morgan Freeman last night, and they were talking about Quantum theory and its relationship to the 6th sense. This doorway to the spirit realm is starting to take on some scientific notice.
Anyway the point of this is that we cannot even begin to know all that is "out there." We are infants in this transition to a more spiritual enlightened time period. Birthdays, and the points in TIME that we recognize and see are all markers of some significance (IMO: angel). One of the most ancient forms of "cosmic" knowledge/science/study is astrology... and its relationship to the exact period your incarnation entered the world. Yes, even to the second, they believe there are correlations and meaning... it is a connection to the other side that's been studied for centuries. My knowledge of it is very, very basic. But a very wise and learned teacher of mine once told me it was just one of many ways God has spoken to us. It is a tool for those who choose to understand and see.

So yes I do believe birthdays have a significance. There are some incredible synchronous dates I've found in studying my own past life 100 years ago. Names, dates, numbers... they all seem to cycle in some kind of vortex of meaning that I'm sure the spirit guides understand.

Good discussion and excellent question Raptor.

When it comes to birthdays having significance, I believe that this kind of thing is just another example of synchronicity among many. I think that it is merely a way for the spiritual realm to communicate with those of us who recognize its significance, rather than being a possible explanation of how Reincarnation works.

How we re-enter this world may be more a matter of countless other issues such as: finding the right parents for our purpose, the right political, cultural and economic atmosphere, the right associates, or the right period of time. Any coincidence involving birth dates of significance are probably our own way of trying to get our attention, perhaps in the same way that we often notice significant signs shortly after someone we love has passed on.

Signs and omens have been an important part of our human existence, and it is somewhat sad that our modern culture has summarily rebuked it as superstition in favor of scientific rationalism, for it has served our ancestors well. Today, we call it synchronicity, and it is slowly being accepted as a way for us to re-connect with the very real spiritual world that exists all around us. So, significant birthdays may be just another of the many ways we have to recognize that we are spiritual beings having physical experiences.

This resonates deeply with truth.

I am not so sure that there is a connection with dates and past lives, that is not to say that for some people there may be some connection, but from my personal experience your date of reincarnation is kind of like keeping an appoinment with a doctor, it is something that you anticipate and keep on your calendar. I think that the date is significant because this may somehow reflect on what you later become in your next life, for instance, if you are to be a famous athelete in the Olympics of 2030, you will have to be born in the year 2014 or you will not be old enough to compete. Or there may be a certain "window of opportunity" where you have to go on this certain date or you can't be born there. This all does make me wonder how the element of time affects our existence here now and later perhaps before. ?

I think certainly, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence in families about many members being on or close to the same days as others, not to mention the number of people that have died almost on the same day as their spouse or another family member.

Nighttrain summed it up nicely

I have read in Shirley Maclaine's book "Saging while Ageing" that she had spoken to physicist Stephen Hawking about reincarnation, and he said he was open to the idea -- mentioning the fact that he was born exactly 300 years after the death of Galileo.

Even though i don' t consider them strong proof or validation, sometimes dates are interesting. Not just the birth day but also they day we were "supposedly" conceived (9 months and 4 days prior to the birthday).

In my case, i couldn't find any meaning to my birthdays but i did find out that (if the date is correct) that in my victorian life i was born on a wednesday, in my most recent life i died on a wednesday and in this life i was born on a wednesday too... i don't know if it means anything.

I have strong suspicions about who I was in one past life, and I was born on the same date that she died, though 430 years later.

Nightrain indeed said it well. I believe that such synchronicities are (at least) a way in which we are encouraged to pay attention and to trust our intuition.
