More Souls Choosing to be Female?

Excellent question, Polaris8, coming from someone who even quoted me saying all of the following...

Yeah, I would've easily sworn me having said all that would've made it obvious that I'm physically male seeking to become female, but I guess not!

I know spirits don't have a gender! I've been told that countless times and knowing that doesn't help me!

What does this mean?

Funny you should say that. I've posted threads here, and on Reddit, asking if we can have specific looks accompanying our next life bodies, because I do have a preference with how I'd like my next-life body to be like as I can give a list of things I dislike about this body, not just the masculine aspects of it. Annoyingly, I apparently have the type of body most people would want that I hate, but there are feminine aspects of the female body I crave to have that most women hate. But I'm being told such little details will never matter in the grand scheme of things with regards how our Higher Self's viewpoint when transitioning from life to life. So what? Do I have to fight with my Higher Self to have the body I want to have? If so so be it because it means a lot to me.

Frustratingly, it seems no one understands how much all this means to me and no person, be it online or in person can actually confirm for me whether or not I'll be a girl in my next life and give me all the answers I'm seeking. Plus, I've had the traumatic experiences of trolls exploiting my issue and using it against me to torment me and I can't have that happening again. I don't want to say never, but I'm confident enough to bet money it will be a very long time before I ever post on this forum again if I ever do at all.

Divine One,

First off I want to apologized if I upset you on asking if you are female or not in this lifetime. And if I did I am sorry for doing so however that was not my intent. I don't merely assume your gender since this is after all an online discussion as I am not there physically to meet you. However I do appreciate you telling me this and being honest (that takes courage) since this helps me somewhat in trying to understand were you are coming from.

Being gay in this lifetime is a hard life/soul lessons in and of itself to learn. As I have mention before I was not so understanding or enlighten in my past lives. So in this life I chose from an soul point of view to become that which I hated and loathed the most so that I may learn the lessons of unconditional love on a soul level not only for myself but for all others as well as we are after all inwardly connected as soul. However your soul lessons are even harder than my own. I can't say I truly understand what you are going thru because I am happy with my gender of my physically body in this lifetime. However I can say I truly have empathy for you in what you are going thru. As I felt the anguish, pain and frustration in your email response to me. The only advise I can give you my dear is life is too short to be so unhappy. And you do deserve to have joy, happiness, success and love in your life. So it is best at first to surround yourself with others that will love and support you unconditionally for who you are. As this gives one great inner strength in not only in speaking your own inner truth but also to live and take ownership of it in your life. Because if you can't be truly who you are in life then you are doing a disservice not only to yourself but to others around you in your life that do love you.

I can't say if that is your soul lesson or not as it is not for me to say however it was apart of my life lessons as soul. I had to have the courage and inner strength to live my own inner truth regardless of what others may have thought of me. It was not easy and it took a long time to get there. But I did. And I am happier for it. And I have wonderful beautiful people in my life now from all walks of life that love and support me as I do them from a soul level. Because we connect from a higher state of awareness. And so can you. But it starts with simply loving yourself for you are in the here and now and go from there. Because in the end we are not our bodies. They may be extensions to a point of what we want to manifest on the physical plane. But they are temporary just the same anyway and are subject to aging, disease and death.

So be the female you always wanted to be in what every way you can and don't let those that try to hurt you get in your way. You have much to teach this world thru the example of your being here. More than you will ever know. Perhaps thru connections with others of like mind you can find a way to possibly manifest the female body you so desire and wish for. Matching your mind and body as one expression here on earth. Anything is possible is you live your own inner truth.

I wish you all the joy, and happiness that life has to offer you. But most of all my dear I wish you love.

Peace and love always....

P.

First of all, I identify as female in this life. It's just the nature of me, my soul..

Secondly, I'll reiterate what some of the contributors in the thread have said so far.. We're all simply points on a spectrum and there is no true male or female in those terms. That's with regards to personality. Physical gender is determined by our biological sex. We also have cultural expectations that we assign as gender roles and what we consider socially acceptable behavior for each gender. If we add to that, what our soul "feels" it is, that's just one more layer of confusion in an already complex discussion.

Let's do a little experiment here.. Let me give you a list of qualities or interests and you can decide whether you think they are male or female:

Likes animals.
Likes taking care of children.
Enjoys cooking.
Plays a musical instrument.
Enjoys gardening.
Patient.
Kind.

I could go on and on; I bet too most of you are thinking those are female qualities. However, I just described me, my grandfather and many other people you wouldn't hesitate to call "men". I just did this to point out the error in our thinking. Aspects of our personality aren't either male or female; we decide that and judge that through the lens of our culture. I do all of these things, I have full custody of my son (I'm a single father) and most people that know me IRL, would describe me as a rugged, out doorsy type. Even through reincarnation, I have seen that even though my body may have changed, I am the exact same person on the inside. And rust me, I still wish I had a nice, long pair of legs and hair I can put up over my head. I don't know if that makes me transgender, or I have a past life hangover or I chose male for this life for a reason.. the jury is still out on that one lol.

So why are we seeing more females being born? Maybe nature has a way and something is going on with it. I think too, it's the modern world we live in and social media is heavily biased towards females. This is me talking from my own experience and observations, so please keep that in mind...

I worked with a lot of students over the years that fall into the "at risk" category. They're extremely intelligent, creative, kind and sensitive. Many, many of the males that are in the so called nerd or geek groups, are identifying as female. My thinking is that they sit amongst their friends and equals, the females, and for all intents and purposes, they like the same things. The same games, anime, stuffed animals and so on. The difference being that the girls will have instagram and facebook accounts where they get a disproportionate amount of attention because they are female.

The males, most of them have self esteem problems, look at them and begin to think how much better and easier their lives would be if they were born girls. They like all the same stuff, they can use their creativity to put themselves into girl's shoes and imagine what it's like to feel pretty. People give them money, jobs, sympathy, attention.. for just being female. It looks like an attractive option and being transgender puts you into an exclusive group. People have to use the right pronouns or they can be sued these days... it's power and control when you previously didn't have any.

There are people out there who are trully transgenered and that is a life long thing. Many of these kids that I've known, will grow up to get girl friends, jobs and life will go on. I've seen it with my own eyes. So why would a soul not want to try on a piece of the good life for once? Find a boyfriend or a husband that will let you stay home for free and do yoga online. I'm being facetious, but there is more social capital and power in being female, right now, more than there ever has been I think and maybe some people (souls) want to experience that or use it as a means to an end (either good or bad).

And to extend on that, thinking that women are the key to restoring or balancing the universe or energy is new age hippie mumbo jumbo and is flat out erroneous thinking. We wouldn't have shows like dance moms and bridezilla if that was the case. And yes, you'd be right to point out that that doesn't represent all women. and I would equally remind you that the majority of men are decent people who have never casued harm to anyone.

I'll add a little PS here.. now that I've been out dating, the amount of women who are in high ranking positions in companies and corporations, who like sports and do things like MMA and fishing, is over whelming.

Maybe for the first time in forever, women are free to pick and choose what they want to do too and it it seems that that they are. In general, men tend to be more repressed and as our culture becomes more open towards women and their self expression and what they can accomplish, maybe it's liberating for people that have felt "trapped" in being male for many life times, but still needing it to be able to accomplish their goals. Maybe it's really men we need to lighten up on this time around.

My 2 cents.... let folks be who they are, respect who they say they are.

I don't think you can 'choose' to be female any more than you can choose to be 'male'. With that conclusion, souls choosing to be 'female' makes no sense.

On an evolutionary note, having more biological females to males makes sense. More bio females = more babies.
