Ancient Egyptian Spirit

Okay *deep breath* I haven't shared this before except with two people close to me. I'm with you on the whole "odd and strange" feeling of not speaking about it, Angela. ;)

I'll just share a couple now:

I am small - about 7 years old. I have just gotten up and dressed and I am with a teacher – the students and I have followed her to the temple. It's early morning - and I am not quite awake yet, but there is work we need to do. We are leaving some sort of offering outside of a CLOSED door inside the temple. There is fruit – figs and pomegranates? And flowers. I am aware that I am not allowed in this room - have never seen behind the door. But I feel curious. I want to know what's in there.
Then I am in some sort of chamber – I think it’s a “classroom” and we are all sitting cross-legged on the floor on mats – in a circle. The teacher has placed various objects within the circle. There is a light sound - almost like cymbals being tapped repetitively. The sound stopped – but the vibration continued within. The heavy smell of incense filled the air. I feel very light - can feel my whole body "humming" and it's pleasurable. I feel safe - calm - completely at peace. Like I am floating inside of myself. Someone speaks (but not aloud - I can hear their voice - like a vibration - inside of me). I am compelled to turn to the objects in the circle. I know I am supposed to alter my conscious perception of the object in front of me - shift it from one state to another. I can hear someone telling me - that everything exists in all forms, always.
The following is from a much later time:

I saw myself stepping into a stone coffin. The entire room was dark – with the exception of one small light that someone was holding. I laid down – it felt cool against my skin. Then I could hear them pushing a slab over top of me. I could see the little source of light dimming – feel the air flow as it cut off. I feel my body vibrating – it’s so intense I feel so hot. And then I am standing in a small room – I know I am not in my physical body. I am looking around the room – but there are no doors – no way out. There IS light – a very bright shimmering white light that keeps getting more intense. It is – all around me. I feel it touching me - it's like an electrical charge.

Very fascinating, Aili - thank you so much for sharing those memories. Do you have any idea when this was and who you were/what that school was? (I assume it wasn't just an ordinary school ;) )

HI Aili,

Thank you for sharing your memories with us. It's so interesting that you remember working In The Light during that time and you experience so much of it in this life. :) Explains a lot - at least to me. You also spoke eloquently about the use of sound as a tool for enabling expanded states of consciousness which is a key component. Below is something I noted some time ago --- regarding how they taught those in the temples to enter altered states.

They taught that in order to experience other dimensions that there are thousands of additional senses. The senses that most people know of are the most primitive. Touch, taste, smell, hearing and sight.
The higher senses are those of vibrations. These vibrations were key to experiencing beyond our time space paradigm -- most important was the realization that certain sounds are actually Light.

Dealing with vibration and sound and light is probably the best I can do to describe teaching tools used then in order to experience altered states consciously. To listen very carefully and to surrender within the being as you meditate. It is also the act of surrender, of letting go that brings one into higher states of consciousness.

Sound works to enhance human vibration. It is brought through the body and all of the peripheral nerves and felt within every part of the being. This type of vibrational sound is not the same sound that we are most familiar with, such as the speaking voice. Vibrational sound sets off a value that is felt within the body. Peripheral nerves feel this vibration.

We were taught that the physical body must not be in resistance with the astral body. The astral body must be able to clarify and release itself from the physical. Bringing the vibration down through the physical body helps to release the astral body from it. It was at the time of birth that the astral body unites with the physical body.

They worked intensively with internal sound, color and light these are what raise the level of consciousness. They used a bell similar to the Tibetan bell, a very pleasurable sound. It is the ringing of these bells that enable the balancing of the right and left hemisphere of the brain which in turn brings consciousness to the center enabling the individual to enter into altered states.
I woke up this morning - to a luminous violet light. It's so..beautiful. It reminded me - to find my center.

I do hope you share more. :)

Yes Karoliina...most fascinating indeed!

Deb I was intrigued by the idea of separating the astral/spiritual body from the physical/carnal one and how you see vibrations as a tool in that regard. I have a wonderful Tibetan bells CD (Seven Bells) for meditation. Trying to describe its effect on me is difficult, but your quote above may have shed some light on it (no pun intended:rolleyes:) I am always fascinated how differing religious philosophies deal with and manifest this "connection" or should we say disconnection.... I do believe that most all forms of spirituality have a common direction. From the ancients to even the moderns (LDS etc)...they all are varying aspects of our origin.

There are lessons to learn from experiences and memories like that of Ailish, Deb and the others.

Thanks for sharing these things!!

I did a meditation today that brings me back to this thread almost three months later. :cool

I came across an interesting notation last week in a regression book titled Healing the Eternal Soul by Andy Tomlinson. It is not just about past life regressions - but also Spiritual Regressions. In it he suggests the work of Michael Newton and the association he developed called The Society for Spiritual Regression. The goal is to remember -- spiritual development, preparation and planning. Today's meditation took me to ancient Egypt.

Todays' journal notes:

I went back – back – back in time to the “beginning.” I was in a temple chamber that had no decorations, no art work, it was cool inside, and quiet.
We were to sit and go into a meditative state……….then came the sound. Sound was very important. It was a vibration that made a sound that is hard to describe. It intensified. We were to feel the vibration within. It purified the body, cleansed the soul and heightened awareness. The training also taught us to leave the body for clear vision and to work in the higher planes.

My body felt magnified and lighter as well as brighter during this process. This cleansing process was something we did many times. It was mandatory that we become clear before the actual initiation process later in life. (Age 33).

Afterward I was outside, in the sun walking by the temple. I looked down to my gold jewelry. Some of it was white so I assumed silver but the feeling was WHITE GOLD. I wore white linen and sandals. A flock of white cranes flew overhead near this temple and river. They were symbolic to me – a spiritual sign that was multi layered.

Then I was in the temple again – sound and vibration filled the room. This time I was laying down. The sound permeated my entire being. My whole body was vibrating on my bed during the meditation. My awareness shifted and my spirit body lifted out of my physical body. I felt myself leaving my body through the 8-9th Chakra above the crown of my head. I knew I had successfully entered into another realm/dimension. This was a combination of a past life experience and a present day experience. (Think Holographic).

My awareness was then back in Egypt - it was after the experience. I was presented with a WHITE LILY of the Nile. It was symbolic for the completion of the process. It acknowledged my success and graduation to the next level.
Three things fascinate me with regard to this experience. The symbolism of the White Lily -the Egyptian Crane and the White Gold. I will post my research later.

Wow Deb, thank you so much for sharing! Its truly amazing how spiritual the Egyptians were and how they were so much more evolved spiritually than present day. I'm not saying that people aren't spiritual anymore, but it seems that a lot of people are focusing on other aspects of their lives such as work, having fun, etc. which is a bit sad to me. From what little I've either read or learned, the Egyptians integrated spirituality into their lives more than say most present-day adults/teenagers. Egypt has always fascinated me, and your posts, Deb, always incite excitement in the depths of my soul. :)

Yes Deb very interesting indeed. Thanks for the update. I think you'll find those symbols very useful in your understanding of it all.

Thanks VanH and Tman.

I did a little research the other day - but have not had time to post my findings. In Naydler's book mentioned earlier he states:

The Lotus, whose manner of growth involves passing out of the water element in order to flower in the air, touched by the rays of the sun, was preeminently a symbol of breakthrough from one world to another.
A professor at the California State University wrote the following. I wondered why I thought it was a "White Lily" and not a lotus. I am very familiar with the lotus.

Some scholars have attempted to identify the sacred flower of the ancient Egyptians as the "lotus." This is not only inconsistent with tomb painting and descriptive early texts in which the glyph is clearly Nymphaea, but neither papyrus nor the lotus existed as natives in Egypt prior to about 700 B.C. when they were brought by the Assyrians.
I lived during 3500 BC.

The Book of the Dead, is perhaps the most important document to emerge from the period of about 1500 B.C. to 1350 B.C. (Fig. 3). Written for the dead, these spells, incantations, and magical formulae can be traced to 1350 B.C., and some are even predynastic, according to Budge (1913).
In these texts, we encounter a chapter entitled "Transformation into a water lily flower." Some have called this simply "lily," others "lotus," but, given the early date of the texts and the late advent of the lotus from Assyria, it is impossible to use such surrogates. It is essentially a magical shamanic transformation. The water lily was initially the favorite of Ra, and a product or emanation from his being. Ani wished to have the power to transform himself into the sacred blue water lily so that his body might have new birth and ascend daily into heaven. Another version of this transformation allowed Ani to transform himself into Ptah (creator god). Importantly, the accompanying vignette is a human head springing from the open flower of Nymphaea caendea growing in a pool of water. The text of this is attributed to "Osiris Ani" who says, "I am the holy water lily that comes forth from the light which belongs to the nostrils of Ra, and which belongs to the head of Hathor.

I am the pure water lily that came forth from the field of Ra."
Later versions of the same text petition the water lily with requests for visions and soul flight.
Food for thought anyway. I'll post information about the White Gold later this week.

What a fantastic experience and wonderful validations. I can't wait to hear more ;) Thank you for sharing...

Always intriguing to read all your thoughts and memories about Egypt and ancient cultures. :)

I am one of the few who have no memories of this time...The only thing I can add is a brief experience in March 2005 when I was just resting at my Dad's house. I heard an unknown voice say:

The Daughter of Isis

The Wife of a God

Of course, I didn't know what that was supposed to mean and why I would hear it! Yet, I treasure and remember this experience and message very well.

Love,

Julie

Hello Julie,

I had a bit similar experience last spring, when one night I was just about to fall asleep. I experienced something that slipped from my grasp as soon as I woke up from the state, but I was thinking, while still in the state that this is ancient Egypt. Then I heard someone saying "HORUS" very loud and clear, which woke me up. And that was all. :o

Karoliina

Hi Karoliina!

Horus huh? That is cool! Glad I am not alone in the strange message department with Eygpt.

Love,

Julie

Hi Julie and Karoliina,

I suggest you take a peek at The Egyptian Book of the Dead, The Papyrus of Ani

Plate VIII into Plate IX, Translated originally by E.A. Wallis Budge, Dover, Paperback T1866, 1967.

I am particularly intrigued by the following from the text:

Far-recall raises the hair (gooseflesh), as does a lightning storm, It brings life, health and sense without defect.
Otherwise said, truth when denied and turned to sorrow cries for the eternal light to wash it clean.

I see truth from yesterday born from woman and the stars and I am renewed.

What then is this relationship ?

This is the water of heaven. The image is of the soul at birth and for every day thereafter - creation of self-knowledge is therefore of Ra.

Thus we say that the triumphant personal self (Ani), loving (following) the true path (Ra), is thus (has become)the great god arising through the process of (re)incarnation.
Horus is the awakening - I thought you two might enjoy the following from my journals - 1991:

Horus shall rise at the break of dawn,
Be thou sure of mind and free in spirit,

Know thine own self to be true.

Rise up in the knowing,

Of all that is and could be.

For the Kingdom of heaven,

Shall bring a new day,

And Horus shall rise in your knowing. 1991
Julie - look up information on The Bridal Chamber with regard to "the Wife of God." It implies much more than you think. The Opening of the Mouth Ceremony also might be of interest.

I've been trying to think about this "Horus flash" and I think that what I saw thinking "this is ancient Egypt" before hearing someone saying "Horus!" was people climbing a very steep mountainside or something like that. I think I recognised the colour of the stone wall to be Egyptian, what ever that means.

Karoliina

Karoliina, I think I know what you mean :) While reading your experience I suddenly remembered a quick flash I had in March:

Before I fell asleep last night an image drifted through my head: I saw a wide river with sandy banks – a small fleet of boats were sailing down it with white sails. It was evening, the sunset being so bright orange and red, the sky seemed to be on fire and it was warm. Even the water in the river seemed to be absorbing the strong colours of red and orange. It was a beautiful, peaceful scene.
Although I didn't write it I assigned this flash to Egypt - it was just the feel of it. You know, when you instinctively know it? Oh, and the boats were similar to this one.

:)

Thanks, Sunniva. Yes, I was thinking about that still after posting, and thought it was probably the warm sandstone colour - and the "just knowing" thing I had going on. :)

Karoliina

An interesting thread for new members ;) Does anyone have a memory of a spiritual experience in Ancient Egypt they would like to share? :D

I have a few memories of Egypt type country. I have not done any work on more of the details than in my initial short regression. ..

One felt like Egypt.. I was a young girl who was trained to be a psychic reader.> I was forced to stay in a small hut and stay alone for most of the time. There were alot of cats around , and I know now this is why I often feel spooked around other peoples cats.. like they are reading my mind?? Rather strange.. I have not done any research into figuring out if this every happened historically??

Number two I was in youngish girl with two sisters , We were either princesses or just wealthy noble people , We were escaping by sea from some sort of rebellion from the people of the land.. Again I have not done any research probably for fear of it not being true..

Number three I was a wealthy landlord who had numerous slaves{ my present parents being among them} I remember feelings of guilt upon my death. I later remembered being present in spirit at the time of my embalming and my now parents who were alone with my body commenting on how they disliked me for working them so hard. I was about to write in my thread letting go about something from that life that I have put to rest.

An older thread I came across today that reminded me..... in way words cannot describe. I hope others find it of interest and comment with their reflections and or experiences.

I will also have to dig up my research from two years ago about Egyptian..white gold and post later this week.

Egyptian afterlife?

Thanks for reviving this thread, Deb. Years ago, I had a very vivid dream that seemed to come from nowhere, and still haunts me. I was incorporeal, in a very dark place, a cavern or cave. I rose above my body and looked around me. There were other bodies strewn around me, but I didn't see any of their spirits. There is one in particular, a small man, (I knew who he was), and of all there, I felt the most pity for him. I thought "he was the greatest of us all, but he didn't understand, so will remain forever attached to his body". I then rise up a long shaft to join my father, the light, on his journey.

Possible Egyptian Life

The initiations and other elements of this thread remind me of many of Joan Grant's books including "Winged Pharaoh". She states that these books are actually past life memories, and (to me anyway) they feel genuine.

For some reason my son (who is eleven now) has always had a fascination with the planet Earth, history, and especially ancient Egypt. This is ironic since he struggles with ADHD, and he reads about a year behind his grade level. He doesn't read often, and would much rather be playing video games, or better yet playing football or wrestling. He has a deep interest in the egyptian god Anubis. A strange quirk my son has is that although he wants to grow his hair long, he can't stand hair on his body. From the time he was very young we have had to hide the razors, or we would catch him trying to shave his legs and arms. He has said that hair on his body makes him feel like a monkey. My gut feeling is that this may stem from a life in ancient egypt.

Hi Val!

Your son sounds like an interesting case, and his ADHD condition makes it even more interesting. I can't remember the source, but someone once suggested an interesting correlation between ADHD and children with anachronistic memories or behavior. I mean this in a very positive way, and I also relate because of my own similar condition and those of my sons who demonstrated uncanny talents and behaviors that I can only ascribe to past life experiences. As for the reading level, I'm willing to bet that you'll see him reading well above the norm at some point in time.

LOLOLO. Hi all. Reviewing this thread, OMG how many times in two years did I say I would come back to this about White Gold? I was deep into teaching college courses and in a new relationship. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Today - 15 years later, I have some information. I had located some earlier but then lost it. I referred to it as white gold in the meditation....seems it was the result of electrum.

The article talks about silver and gold - and electrum. Anyway, I have forgotten how to make images smaller...so I apologize for the size here. At least I finally came back with information.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hi I have an amazing reincarnation story to tell I have tried for years to get this out to somebody in the know. I have hopes that somebody can put my story to paper🙂. I have had many memories of my past life in Egypt. Memories of an amazing experience I had in the great pyramid. The ritual was life changing and I can still feel it sometimes in my teeth. The main ritual I remember was a literal ascension. The pressure and vibrations inside the great pyramid was unbearable it felt like my teeth were going to implode from the inside out! I saw two people including me physically dematerialize and as the robes dropped I saw haze like on a road on a hot day and the tiniest of particles move upwards. I have always felt I was some kind of great leader since I was a little kid. I would stare at the sun, lol get yelled at for going blind if I kept on staring at it. I would bask in the sun and just couldn’t get enough of it! My nickname growing up was called “Sunshine” I always loved the sun for some reason! Fast forward thirty years later a Shaman friend of mine told me about an anagram of his name and I knew to go home and do one of mine. I was shocked when I did.
Keith Alan liston = I still Akhenaton
This explains everything about all my dreams and visions of of Egypt the rituals and my love of the sun.
I have too much to type in this forum but would love to tell it to the moderator in person or the owners of this site. I have found many of my family in that life now in this one. I can also add some light to Ahmed Osmans theory about Moses being one and the same as Akhenaton. I lived that life and would love to tell it. Thank you for whoever reads this.

I have hopes that somebody can put my story to paper🙂.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you feel inspired to write your own story. Now days you have the help of AI. I mean that sincerely, I have used AI art to recreate dreams and strange phenomenon. It's a wonderful tool to assist you, since that is what you're looking for.

Should you ever take the steps to write your story, please feel free to share it here.

Hello brother, I was once your little sister, Beketaten. I was a confused kid. All your fault! LOL.

Ah yes hello, what a coincidence that I’m currently invested in my Ancient Egyptian life(which I have talked about here before but I forgot the exact place). Anyway, I found a podcast which covers many specific periods in great detail so if you’re looking for someone’s specific rule then check this out: https://open.spotify.com/show/7EK7aL9zF57EV1eZb4X6Qg?si=I4ahkg2sQKKoPT2FmtV-1g

Their descriptions have bibliography too.

Anyway, I am currently curious about Butehamun and gang relocating the Pharaohs so for example, there is a speculation(but not 100% proven so for now, take this with a grain of salt) that Ramses II’s mummy is in Horemheb’s coffin? It’s not just that but many more other instances like that.

Welp, this just got awkward REALLLYYY quickly....

Question and I don't mean this viciously or shutting you down. What makes you say you were Akhenaten? I mean, I've got validated memories of being Queen Nefertiti, and I do know who the actual reincarnation of Akhenaten is, so I'm curious.

All Pharaohs were sun worshippers. They worshipped Ra, the Sun God before Akhenaten and the Aten, and afterwards. In my life as Ramesses II, I worshipped Ra the Sun God too, because Ra held the Ankh - the Ancient Egyptian key of life. Monotheism, polytheism, whatever we called it, it was still the same thing.
